Was there some doubt that Cheney would remain Vice President? I didn't realize this was a part-time gig. Does it surprise Bush that Cheney's advice doesn't show up the next day in the paper. How would Bush know if it did?

There were rumors Cheney would resign after the midterms. Apparently, he isn't going to do that.
I'm not surprised Bush supports Cheney and Rumsfeld. After all, they all agree on the same policy and he doesn't think they're doing an awful job.
