Is something bad about to happen ?

Nukes in the USA ? Viruses ? Terror Attack ?

What is Up ???

Why did BUSH just sign papers to give him the power to be a dictator?
because he wants to be a dictator and the timing is perfect. I bet we go to war with iran before the next presidential election and then the prez is in there like bootie hair for as long as another middle east gaggle war can last. You people don't think this can happen? wow. Just tell me you'll wake up when we need you.

But about half of you can say "at least hillary wasn't elected."
Reply:Maybe he knows something we don't....Interesting how none of the major news media has picked up on this story....
Reply:Maybe he wants to be one.

"You don't get everything you want. A dictatorship would be a lot easier." Bush was quoted in Governing Magazine in 1998, describing what it's like to be governor of Texas."
Reply:First of all, thats not dictator status. Second of all, he can't use this law do to a bill passed stating that no president can use his own law during his term (I forgot what it was, sorry). Thridly, it is only during a national emergency (9/11) and is coordinated by the Sec of State and Defense, limiting his powers by much.
Reply:I believe there might be some kind of black op. by the US military against itself in the Gulf and blamed on Iran to precipitate a war of agression against Iran.

The directive is definately breathtaking to those of us who know that the President needs to have the Congress make the laws not him.

What this President has done by signing this directive is show his contempt for the US Constitution. His directive is useless unless the Congress makes the law. He is in violation of the US Constitution and should be impeached soon.
Reply:Ken, in any "emergency" a president can declare "martial law". This recent act just reinforces those provisions!
Reply:Did you even read it?

Not the article that you referenced, but the actual directive?

It provides for a person to be responsible for a coordinated response to a major catastrophe in the country.

Paranoid much?
Reply:hmmm - absolutely no potential for abuse there, huh?
Reply:He cannot make himself a Dictator by sighing a paper. Pleeeaaassseee.
Reply:no, no, no. Its just for if a terror attack or a rebelian occurs Bush will be put in total authority, no worries.
