Five reasons why bush is a good president?

im doing a presuasive paper about how bush actaually did some good things during his 8 year term, but i need sme help. i need some facts so please be seroius and no negative comments.

Five reasons why bush is a good president?
I know many people will disagree with me:


He is the best president we've had in at least 10 years!!





Let's See:





The Jobless rates have fallen (meaning more people have jobs now in America [in President George Bush's two terms])





We have not had another terrorist attack since 9/11 which means why would we pull our troops out now??





He believes that gay marriages are not suitable, and He quotes the Bible saying that marriage should be between a man and a woman.





He cares about what even the Democrats have to say (like in congress)even though he may disagree with the topics/issues they bring up.





Plus, if you really didn't want him as our president, you shouldn't have voted for him. He did win the election for two terms in a row, so people obviously did want him in office!





So really, I don't want you to write nasty comments back to me, I just want you to realize where we stand as a country with George Bush as our president.

He doesn't have affairs with monica lewinski (if ya know what I mean...)

Reply:I think you might have to water-board people in order to persuade them that President Bush did five good things in six plus years of his presidency. Good luck.
Reply:Who makes you write a persuasive paper on that? Shouldn't you have a choice to write whether Bush is a good president or not? You shouldn't be forced to support something you don't support, otherwise you wouldn't be asking this question. I can think of millions of ways he is not a good president, but I can't even think of one good thing he did. Just put that he makes good speeches, even though he didn't write them. Like the State of the Union Address. Good luck!

Reply:seriously,Ive sat here for awhile thinking about it but the list is short,he has made it so its almost a lock for a democrat to be elected,,and he did give us that big $600 rebate that time,it was intended to jump start the economy but that didn't work but hey i got new tires for my truck..good luck on the paper

Reply:Good luck. I can only think of one. He united the nation against him. Still, he united the nation. That's about it.
Reply:he has not been a good president. he has made serious mistakes. but, compared with Gore and Kerry, he is an excellent president. I would focus the paper not on Bush's strengths, but on how much better he is than his opposition.
