Has George W. Bush contributed to any charities that help people in Poverty?

I'm writing a detailed paper on George W. Bush and comparing him to other people of his social status. I cannot, however, find what seems to be the most crucial point. So how much has he given to charities, if any?

Has George W. Bush contributed to any charities that help people in Poverty?
That should be in his financial disclosure information that he is required to make public every year.

Since his main income is via the Carlyle Group, you might compare their information too.
Reply:George W. Bush, like his father before him, is not interested in the poor. It is the elite, super-rich that he is interested in. Bush, like his father, is a supporter, as well as a founder of the One World Order that is to come. I voted for this clown, both times! I did not know about his treasonous signing of agreements that will end our freedom as we know it. Clinton, before him was guilty of the same, as was G. H. W. Bush before him, all the way back to Reagan. Check it out.

Reply:His tax returns show hundred of thousands in charitable donations but where you can see them I do not know. of course tax returns also dont itemize where the donations went.
Reply:"President Bush and the first lady, Laura Bush, gave a total of $75,560 to churches and charitable organizations, some of which were involved in disaster relief efforts following Hurricane Katrina. The Bush gifts represented 12 percent of their taxable income of $618,694."

"The White House said that the organizations receiving gifts from President and Mrs. Bush included the American Red Cross (hurricane relief); the Archdiocese of New Orleans Catholic Charities; the Combined Federal Campaign, the federal government's annual charity drive; Martha's Table, a soup kitchen in Washington; the Mississippi Food Network, and the Salvation Army (hurricane relief and Pakistan earthquake relief)."
Reply:I do not know, but how much have you gave, if any. Why just Bush, why not research all politicians, see what they gave. If your trying to say that he has not done nothing to help the poverty people, your wrong. If you also think that Hillary will, that is a joke in itself.
