Is the president Bush a continuing alcoholic?

I do not agree with President Bush on a lot of things, but I cannot tolerate people making up lies about the president either. I just want to know the truth.

I got into a discussion with a certain person that suggested that the president is still an alcoholic, and that his wife plans to leave him once he finishes his term. Evidently, he obtained this information from a news paper. Now we all know that the average news paper isn’t always the most reliable source of information, yet this individual reads the paper as though it were the very Bible. What is the truth? Continuing alcoholic or liberal bs indented to downgrade the president.

Is the president Bush a continuing alcoholic?
A visit to any AA meeting will tell you alcoholism is never cured, it's only controlled. So to just say he is a continuing alcoholic doesn't tell the whole story.

*LOL* But putting up with the present Democrats in Congress would drive me to drink so I wouldn't blame him for falling off the wagon.
Reply:Nobody really knows if he's drinking again. By the way he'll always be an alcoholic. Someone doesn't stop being an alcoholic when they stop drinking. It's a life long addiction, whether they remain sober or not they remain an alcoholic for life. As far as his marriage goes, I don't know and don't feel it's any of my business.
Reply:Once an alcoholic always an alcoholic. I don't believe that Mr. Bush has fallen off the wagon. I think that, whatever people might think of him as President, he is a man of strong conviction. If he says he quit drinking he did. Besides, if there was the slightest hint that he'd fallen off the wagon the liberal press would be all over it like a cheap suit.
Reply:As an alcoholic, he will always be an alcoholic, he will just be able to control it. I do not know the situation with President Bush and his wife, nor do I want to know because it is none of my business.
Reply:i don't support bush, but i don't think that he is still an alcoholic. he did drink in the past and when that was leaked it was a big downward turning point in his 2nd election b/c he majorly attracted the southern christians, and when they heard of him drinking some stopped supporting him.
Reply:It is unlikely Bush has resumed drinking. However, his behavior frequently suggests impairment of some kind. See this older video:

While this evidence is hardly conclusive, it seems plausible that Bush could be suffering a slow decline in his mental abilities brought on by his past binging on drugs and alcohol.
Reply:LOL! Of course Bush is a binger alcoholic, all of the signs are there, with the absences, some irregular things noted a few times. As far as Laura leaving, heck, cons aren't concerned as they were with Clinton's personal life (and still are) , showing the hypocrisy.
Reply:wait and see.
Reply:The National Enquirer, The Star and those newspaper? I believe some have been mislead. Can u try and get them to read a real paper? Good luck.
