Is this the epitome of Liberal, anti-Bush, pro terrorist propaganda being propagated by the liberal media?

Take a look at this (video) interview with Hugo Chavez and Barbara Walters. It is disgracfull.

This is a textbook example of how the liberal media ( CNN%26lt; MSNBC%26lt; NBC%26lt; BBC%26lt; ABC%26lt; CBS etc etc etc ) actively works to undermine George W Bush, and American people.

It should be noted that reporting like you are about to see is common place in Americas media. Wether you see it on TV, read it in a news paper or the Net, or hear it on the radio - albeit radio news is mostly Republican, there are many liberal voices.

Things you should note, while watching the interview:

1) The cake questions he is asked.

2) Complete avoidance of tough questions

3) Note how the questions are phrased - as to make it easier for that simpleton to understand

4)Look how Barbara praises Chavez after the interview.

5) She actively defends this man.

6) She trys to make him look like the good guy and GWB like the bad guy - Unfortunately - its also makes American look bad too.

Please watch

Hugo Chavez, didn't say anything about Bush that isn't true. Bush is completely out of touch with world politics (as is most of America).
Reply:I don't watch anything that has Barbara Walters. She's getting her own back though. I hear dyke Rosie signed for another year. How can anyone have respect for that show that would allow a pig such as her to be in front of the public.
Reply:I've never understood the fascination with Barbara Walters. I think she is way over-rated and rather annoying. As far as the media goes, stop watching the news. Both sides are disseminaters of falsities. GWB is one of the worst presidents in history and deserves the criticism.
Reply:Well isn't that the pot calling the kettle black....I suppose its okay if right wing media bashes the left with all kinds of slander and propaganda...but if the left does it, its unpatriotic. So does that mean that when the Dems take the White House, Fox will be unpatriotic for bashing the president?

As for Barbara Walters...she has left serious journalism...and is focussed on far more 'entertainment' style pursuits. I wouldn't suggest that she is a political beacon or voice. So you get what you get, depending upon what you watch...
Reply:Well, now that Baba Wawa's previous love interest, Fidel, is ill, she needs a new communist thug dictator to swoon over.
Reply:Barbara Walters kisses everyone's ***. It has nothing to do with liberal or conservative.
Reply:I am not convinced that GW Bush, and American twat if there ever was one, needs any help in undermining America, or looking foolish while he does it, and if he does, they there is always Cheney to advise him .

Is it any wonder that America is totally fu cked up...
Reply:I'm sorry. I don't know where you are from, but GWB IS A BAD GUY!!

As for Chavez, his countrymen and women democraticaly elected him. What do you care how he runs his government? Do you live in Venezuela?

Sounds like you need to stop letting all the spin monkeys on the right push your mind of the prize.

EDIT: Skip, you are wrong about the US Attorneys. They are historically appointed at the beginning of the term and are then left alone so that they can be free to uphold the law away from any political pressure. Bush fired all the attorneys at the beginning of his term too. Now he has fired some more of them midterm after they may have not been towing the party line. That is a very bad president to set. From here on out, do you want "foul politics" to be called anytime someone is indicted? Not good for our country, my friend.
Reply:He is more admirable than i thought,, he is a smart man....

thanx for the input

the media is biased through the owners slant, and most of them are cons....

the only way you can think the media is liberal is if you are ancient and out of touch with reality.... You might want to travel more......
Reply:I Agree 100% with you that the liberal media will do anything it takes to go around the President, Rosie O'Donnell comments aside. They all claim that Khalid Mohammed was tortured, and the information that he gave could not be taken seriously. I mean what will take to see that America is the good and terrorists are bad. They were also disgusting in their coverage of the federal prosecutor firings, Bill Clinton did the same thing. They serve at the pleasure of the President. Keep up your fight, my friend
Reply:SEEING YOUR QUESTIONS, ALL I CAN SAY IS POOR U!!

HOPE U GET A LIFE SOMEDAY
Reply:Maybe not, for there are a close knit group of people in this world ( let us just call them the faceless ones) who control everything through their immense wealth.

Criticise what they do and it goes on deaf ears, they are the Executive and have the armed forces and the police to defend their interests and the rest of us are just pawns on their chess board.
Reply:I am just amazed that you think that all the media is against George Bush for no reason. Do you really think that most people are that dumb, that they can't make up their own mind about what is really going on in this country? And if they were, can all these tv stations be wrong?
Reply:Don't equate soft-ball interviewers like Barbara Walters with the liberal media. You need to look at the big picture and you need to take into consideration that there is a LOT of conservative propaganda on TV too. This is an extremely secretive administration, and they're only going to tell us what they want us to hear: that the insurgency is in its last throes, that the war will be over in a few months, that Rumsfeld is working with the generals on the ground, that the plan is constantly changing and adapting to new needs, that they're constantly asking the hard questions. Not one of those things was true. The insurgency is gaining strength, and they knew that a year ago, and Rumsfeld was $hitcanned for not being adaptable and for blatantly NOT listening to the advice that was coming to him from the front lines. Pointing out the flaws of this administration isn't going to make us look bad as Americans. Anybody who has travelled internationally knows that. If anything, sweeping it under the rug and not asking the questions that need to be asked and answered in order to have any level of transparency or accountability is what is making us look inept as a nation. The conservatives would have us believe that not allowing them carte blanche to run the world however they like is unpatriotic and not supportive of our troops in Iraq. As Bush notoriously stated, he believes that he is "the decider", and that things would be much more efficient without a system of checks and balances in place. Those aren't the words of a democratically elected president. Those are the words of a man who wants to be a dictator. If that doesn't scare you into asking some "liberal" questions, then may I humbly suggest that perhaps it is you who are unpatriotic?
