Dows anyone like President Bush or his policies?

I am looking mainly for people who like Bush's new policies. Just in case you don't know, he wants to send 21,500 more troops to the already 131,000 that are in Iraq already. Any opinons will be read and possibly used for my college paper. If you are serving this wonderful country I'd like your inside opinon the most, any thing you'd like to say is fine! Thank all of you, and Bless our Soldiers!

Dows anyone like President Bush or his policies?
some people like him... I don't know them, sorry...

But his family like him 100%
Reply:I think people need to stop criticizing a man in one of the most important and difficult positions in the world. Half the people who badmouth him probably didn't even vote in the election. I can't say I always agree with everything he does or says, but he is the President of the country and people need to have some respect. The average American really has minimal knowledge of what is occurring in this country, not to mention the rest of the world. I'd like to see how they'd do running the country for a day. I'm gonna assume the President has a little more information that I do about the situation. I think Bush is making the best decisions he can with the information he has.
Reply:I like Bush's policies. I agree that the media has greatly demonized him. Keep in mind, that history shows that the great presidents of the US have always been demonized and frowned upon for their policies while in office, yet history passed on to our time always tells us differently.

It is true that he wants to increase the size of the military, but he never said he wants to send 21,500 more troops to Iraq. The size of the military does need to be large especially considering that we are one of the largest countries in the world.

I do agree with you that the soldiers should be supported. I support the troops by wanting a victory in Iraq unlike the far left who say they support the troops but choose defeat over victory. Securing a defeat in Iraq and then setting up a timetable to pull out is insanity. In the history of the world there has never been a country who has announced publicly a timeline to pull out and surrender. It would eventually turn out to be more horrible than we imagine.

People need to understand that the doctrine of Jihad is to eliminate and exterminate the United States because we are infidels. We aren't fighting an imaginary force in Iraq. Terrorists are real and if we pull out, then Iraq will become a safe haven for all terrorists in the Middle East.

We are still in Japan. We still have bases in Korea, Germany, and other countries we have gone to war with. President Bush believes that defeat is not an option and myself, as well as the majority of Americans believe the exact same thing.

Take the example of Conservative talk radio. Everytime liberal Democrats try and get on the air, they always fail. Conservatives own the radio like Liberals own most of television and it drives them nuts. Rush Limbaugh's audience is the biggest audience in media. I don't believe the polls at all either. They are just as biased as the media who publish them. Bush supporters I believe are greater in number, the liberal democratic media is just louder...i.e.Rosie O'Donnell.

The only thing where I do disagree with Pres. Bush's policies are his policies on illegal immigration. I am totally against 100% amnesty.
Reply:Yes some people "dows".
Reply:No, and I voted for him #$%^%26amp;*!
Reply:I think it's something that should have been done as soon as the sectarian violence in Iraq started... maybe the situation would be different today if it happened.

Regardless, we can only leave when the situation stabilizes.. and more troops will help accomplish that.

But in general.. I'm about 50/50 on Bush's policies.
Reply:I am serving, and I think he is doing a great job of keeping our country secure.
Reply:I like him. I served twenty years in the Navy, most under Democrats (Carter and Clinton) and I must say republicans kick ***. I was so frustrated being deployed to hot spots then not allowed to do anything to the idiots who killed innocent civilians. At least Bush had a response to those murderers.

Much of the reason that people are so depressed about America these days has to do with the constant negative message from the media. Now that the Democrats are in charge of congress, they have done nothing they promised to do during the election. Given hat Americans have only two real choices in elections and niether will make life any better, you see why people have lost faith in America.

If one bothers to actually listen to Bush and ignore the loudmouths who think they know better, you will have more respect for the man. I do. The job is hard but few people could do it better.
Reply:You realize that personnel that are currently serving in the military really aren't supposed to comment on such topics, correct?
Reply:I like President Bush's policy's towards Irag I believe the liberals and the Media need to quit using the war as a lying point to further their agenda by the way they are slanting the news to the general public to sway public opinion we need to give the military a clear objective and the resources to achieve it and get out of the way
Reply:Sure people like him and his policies. Sure others don't. You can ask this question for anybody for any thing and the answer would be the same. Pro's and Con's to any question. He is in a position that is tough. Trying to protect the world of terrorists and radical's. The rest of the world is out there some are helping some are not.
Reply:I think he is doing fine, except for one thing: He's trying to be too nice to the Democrats. He should have a get tough policy with them.
Reply:You want to find people who like Bush's new policies.

GOOD LUCK!
Reply:I support the president and some of the policies of his. I dont support all of the policies, but that is my choice as an american.

In history, he may be known as a good president. He may not be the best ever, but thats okay. I think president bush got us through a rough time in history. And similar to Truman, He'll be appreciated better when the century is into its 2nd decade.
Reply:I am unsure as to whether President Bush is serving the better interest of the world. As far as I know our wonderfull democrats in the senate and house all agreed by vote to take out Saddam. When the times get tough they all run like rats off the ship. I would agree that Bush does stick by his decision. I think he has done a decent job. No one can accuse him of some of the things the last president did. As far as i am concern Clinton caused his own problems with the Yugoslavian war. Nor gonna mention his escapade in the oval office.

All you America haters, i e democrats -- when you guys take over we all know that the price of gas will drop considerably, and taxes are gonna go down. TAXES WILL GO DOWN - Just like monica did.

FYI. Independant Voter - Seems like all our politicians are crooked.

Reply:pertaining to just this issue.... i think iraq was a preemptive war and bad policy that Bush himself opposed in 2000 (nation building).... i also think we need to finish what we started. we ought to send 100,000 troops and finish it up. we should not pull out or set timetables, that's as irresponsible as going in to begin with.

you dont cut someone's arm off trying to remove a splinter and then walk away: 'my bad, looks like your f'd now'
Reply:I like President Bush and his policies. I think he has been demonized by the media. I don't agree with everything he says and does, but I do agree with most of it. I believe it is important to defend our country especially after what we suffered on 9/11. I think people too easily forget that we lost close to 3000 lives that day. I am proud of our soldiers and I am sad that some don't make it back, but the majority do. And, they are an all volunteer military. As far as sending more troops, I think it is a wise idea. Of course, they need to be funded, but some don't care about that. Also, I think he is a man of integrity because he doesn't change his mind or opinion at every negative poll ( like a previous president I won't name ).
Reply:I agree...to some extent with most of his Policie's,but I do believe that he went about doing some of them-the Wrong way! I do not agree with the recent Immigration...or should i say Illegal Immigration Bill! I do not like the way that they have handled the Northern Border with Canada. It has gotten to be too extreme a game of Political Mudslinging and Power Pushing. It'll only serve to feed into the "Anti-American Hype" up here, and it is severely affecting the Economie's of both the Trading Nation's...U.S. and Canadian! I originally supported the U.S.A.'s measures to improve security, but now if anything...I really do get "ticked-off" by the unreasonable paranoia and rudeness...that is carried on by U.S. Custom's and Border Patrol. I am really beginning to feel like I am paying, because the Liberal Government of the day...would not support Iraq, without a UN mandate! But some of the Question's and responses I get from Customs Officer, would tend to make you think they are a bunch of Mindless Illiterate's. It's getting real hard for me to take them seriously anymore? By the way...I do not dislike the U.S. or its President,or even its People. My Grandmother is an American!

But I'll be damned if I'm going to buy 5 Passports, just so I can take the Kid's to Disney Land for a week. Or go to Art Park in Lewiston ,NY. It just makes no sense, especially when you live on the same damned Continent. And essentially use the Same product's,same TV,and eat the same types of Food? And personally,I can understand that alot of American's would have a simular grievance! Otherwise I don't really have a problem with the American's or for that matter...it's Military! They are just doing the Job that is required of them, and they are doing it well! I don't think that Mr. Bush is purposely trying to cause Havock either,I do believe that he feels what he is doing...is the right thing to do-but only Time will Tell???
Reply:Employing soldiers to stay home and cook is a waste of labour and cost It does not meet their job requirement. Since the homeland is peace and quite better send them to babysit others. At least there will a big income for the country when the job well done.
Reply:I do not like any of his propaganda, I mean his policies, but I love America!--still
Reply:I love Bush. I love his personality. I love the fact that he isn't giving up on the war just because it isn't popular. And I love how much better the economy is doing since he's been in office. But the crazed lefties will tell you that's not true. There is a reason why the call republicans the "right". =)
Reply:I agree, Bless our soldiers.

As for the rest, I can't answer... because I do not, and I don't know anyone who does LIKE Bush. he is incompetent and the sooner he is gone the better.
Reply:I gave up after mission accomplished.
Reply:No. I don't like him or his policies.
Reply:personally i dont llke him or his policies he should spend more time and energy on what america needs y is he spendin billions od dolllars to rebuild structures that we blew up and tore down just to have them blown up again?

and i see no reason to send more troops the only reason that there are more and more bombings in iraq is because we r still there
Reply:I CAN'T STAND HIM!!!!!! I think he is an incompetant moron. It was a shame the first time he was elected but I do not understand why anyone would vote him in for a second term! He was completely wrong about the war but is still so bullheaded that he won't admit any fault. And for all of those people who voted for him...do you enjoy paying $3-$4 a gallon for gas? I know I don't but that's what you get for electing an oil man into the White House. Way to go. I also can't stand watching him give a speech. It is so obvious that he is reading it and that he didn't write it himself. The big words are a dead give away! Let's face it, old Georgie boy has trouble with anything past two syllables, and that's probably being generous. He tries to act so confident when he's reading his speeches when we all know that he folds when put on the spot. He proved that during the 2004 debates with John Kerry. He doesn't know what to say, so he just keeps repeating the same comment, whether it fits the question proposed or not.

I could go on forever about how much I despise that man but I can feel my blood pressure rising as I type so I better stop. I hope this helps you!
