If you agree. tell me why?
I read in a Arabic news paper America is like the Romans's time and bush is Caesar.?
I have this funny feeling that you cannot read Arabic.
So why did you ask this question?
Is there a full moon out tonight again?
Reply:I read in an American paper that Arabic papers are to be used to line the cages of rodents.
Reply:American Empire, Roman Empire. They have a lot of similarities. Caesar was fairly early in Roman history. Bush would be like one of the later Emperors.
Near the end of the Roman Empire they had huge tax problems. Only the poor were taxed while the wealthy paid very little. They also had huge problems with foreign manufacture, An incredible trade imbalance and collapsed under the costs of running their military empire. The US Empire faces the same problems and has no ready solutions for them either. The rise of religion as a power after Constantine was a curse, not a blessing. Expect the same in the modern Empire.
The Caesars were the start of the Political Families ruling Rome. USA has had Political Families in power for over 200 years.
Reply:I do not read Arabic newspaper and I do not agree what is stated in that Arabic newspaper you mentioned. What about yourself, do you agree what is stated in that newspaper?
Reply:They have a shallow one sided self-fulfilling attitude and do not understand America.
Peace!
Reply:I read in a book that the moon is made of cheese and little green men live there. If YOU agree please tell me why.
Reply:Can you tell me for what legal cause U.S. occupied Iraq without the approval of UN?why did she still there although he said the main military operations had ended since 4years?Why helping Israel to oppress Palestinians and treat them like animals?
Reply:It is a wonderful idea but not the truth. President Bush is doing a hard job made even harder by a seditionist Democratic Party
Reply:Bush is more like Nero.
Reply:If Bush was Caesar, he'd be dead.

Why did Bush call the constitution a god damn piece of paper?
That seems to be how most of the politicians feel. Makes me wonder how much longer we'll have that piece of paper - how about you?
Why did Bush call the constitution a god damn piece of paper?
Because it is, in fact, a "god damn piece of paper."
Reply:Because the goal of his jesuit-vatican masters is to destroy liberty in this country.
Reply:because he has no respect for laws that limit HIS power.

Did Prez Bush really say "just a G...dam piece of paper."?
in referring to the constitution. I think it may be 2nd hand information from an aide, but is it verifiable?
Did Prez Bush really say "just a G...dam piece of paper."?
“Stop throwing the Constitution in my face. It’s just a goddamned piece of paper!”
-George W. Bush, 43rd President, United States
P.S. Obviously he would only have said this in the heat of the moment and would naturally want to limit the damage after the event. However, if he was misquoted then you can be certain that the people involved in making the claim would be prosecuted for slander - the fact that they have not gives credibility to the claim.
In any even, whether he said these words or not his administration's success in introducing the so called 'Patriot Act' have taken dangerous steps towards turning the Constitution into "just a goddamned piece of paper"
Reply:No...lol. If he had it would be the lead story by every liberal news source in the country. I know the President is seen to be a stupid man, but no one is that stupid. But, GW is a hella lot smarter than people give him credit for. I think his simpleton act is just that, an act.
As for the constitution it is just a piece of paper now. The meanings as presented by the crafters of the document were lost long ago. Do you really think the framers meant to protect the First Amendment rights of a perverted 60 year old man as he video tapes an 18 year old girl having sex with rabid German shepherds as a roomful of drunken frat boys watch on performing a circle jerk? Those who ratified the Constitution would be appalled by the Courts interpretation of their original meanings.
Reply:NO! What kind of American would say that?! Another Liberal lie!
Reply:If Capitol Hill Blue is your source, then I think it's probably not true at all. I personally loathe Bush, but I cannot credit that he would be stupid enough to say such a thing, even in a room full of Republicans.
It's fairly obvious that he doesn't care much about the Constitution or the Law. All those signing statements he has used to make sure that the law would not apply to anything he wanted to do is pretty much evidence that he thinks the office of the President is above the rule of law. And its fairly obvious, with warrantless wiretaps and pushing through unpopular appointees by between-congress shenanigans, that he's not interested in the Constitution that much. To modify a popular quote from the 60s, he apparently believes that he's going to have to destroy the Constitution in order to save it.
Reply:It is second-hand information, from a couple of different aides, who will not go officially on the record (anymore) because they were threatened with losing their jobs is they did.
Reply:I would have to day 'no', just as we would never hear the end of it
Reply:Yes and yes
Reply:Unfortunatly GW ain't too far off. The constitution was drafted to change along with the times. But we see it as set in stone. It was intended to be amended as was needed for the growth of the US. It was drafted to a much simpler time not for todays matters. I am not defending what he said, after all he is an idiot, and an embarrassment to the american people.
Reply:No, That was some Clinton/Carter appointee federal judge.

Aren't you tired of democraps saying that Bush called the constitution a GD piece of paper?

I feel many liberals think GD when they see a flag waving, though.

I wouldn't even try to GUESS what was going in that puddle of goo called the "liberal mind". Yet they, supposedly knowing conservatives as they do, can tell the WORLD what Bush is thinking now, and for every second of his presidency, past and present!
Unbelievable.
Did they stop to think, for a nano-second, that if this bull had ANY legs, the liberal media would have RUN with it....fast and for many, many miles? That CNN and MSNBC would gladly have it on their sub-news stations 24/7? That even FOX news would be spreading it all over?

Since Bush has called the Constitution just a piece of paper, and...?
since he has trashed it with signing statements to ignore laws, conducted illegal wiring tapping, etc. should the military, which has vowed to uphold the Constitutions against all enemies foreign and domestic, turn their attention to the greatest current domestic threat to it....GWB? Who's out there protecting the Consitution? Ron Paul? Congress?
Since Bush has called the Constitution just a piece of paper, and...?
Bush can be impeached. He may think he is some Nazi immune to the punishment but he did break many laws and infringed on our constitutional rights. Check out link below. I believe Ron Paul to be the best choice for America. He is the only experienced candidate that isn't part of the CFR (Council on Foreign Relations). This organization is big business, big money and controls most media outlets. Instead do a search about them. To me it seems like they want to take our ever decreasing constitutional rights away and put in a dictator/puppet of their choice. Eventually they want a one world govt, controlled by them of course. America's military is their policy making attack dog, hence some of the past wars and current war, our lives = their profit. If he is not elected we may become the North American Union instead of the USA, have a big *** highway run through the country, and instead of the US dollar the Amero. There may be more consequences/theories but I'm too lazy to type. So don't take my word for it, do your own research. You can check his campaign website for his stance on issues. Also check out youtube for other info. CFR the real terrorist is a threat to our national security. Ron Paul deserves our support. Vote wisely. Good Luck
Reply:They'd almost be entitled to stage a coup, inasmuch as the spineless Democrats aren't doing their responsibility.
Reply:I agree with you entirely. Sadaam Hussein was a dictator and he was hanged. I think its time we do the same thing to the war mongering dictator in the White House right now.....unless you like living in a fascist state.

Did Bush really call the Constitution "That Goddamn piece of paper"?
Maybe it's just a rumor, but if he did, holy crap!! Is it not one of his main dudies to "uphold and protect" the Constitition?
Did Bush really call the Constitution "That Goddamn piece of paper"?
President George W. Bush is on the record as having said the Constitution of this United States is "just a piece of paper." This same president has condoned torture and reserved the right to waive habeas corpus when he thinks it is necessary.
On May 9, 2007, the final dishonor to his oath of office occurred. Our president passed National Security Presidential Directive/ NSPD-51 and Homeland Security Presidential Directive/HSP-20 and has given himself the power to proclaim himself dictator of the United States of America, assuming all the powers of national, state, local and tribal governments under any emergency he deems necessary. CSPAN is the only media outlet to even discuss this issue.
Read the directive for yourself on the Internet at www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2007/05... You will see an unprecedented executive branch power grab that has no boundaries. Our Constitution has been made null and void.
